Specific Prize Terms and Conditions

Archies will approach the 1 x Winner by Instagram Direct Message. Once On the Beach has been informed of the Winner by the Promoter of the competition, the Winner must contact winners@onthebeach.co.uk to claim their holiday voucher prize. 

1. On the Beach £500 holiday voucher (Voucher)

    • The promotion can only be redeemed against bookings of any duration and any board type to a Qualifying Destination (as set out below). Bookings for any other destinations are excluded from this promotion.
    • Voucher cannot be redeemed against hotel only bookings or a group booking.
    • Voucher can be redeemed against transfers, insurance, baggage and any extras available to purchase as part of the booking.
    • Voucher must be used against a holiday booked between 28/11/2024 and 01/05/2025 (inclusive) with travel completed by 31/12/2025. If the holiday has not been booked, taken up and concluded by this date, the Voucher shall be deemed forfeited. No extension is possible.
    • At least one member of the travelling party must be aged 18 or over.
    • The Voucher has a maximum value of £500 only. Any cost above this amount is the responsibility of the winner of the Voucher and must be paid in full at the time of booking. No alternative payment plan or method shall be available to the winner in any circumstance.
    • Bookings are subject to OTB’s terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.onthebeach.co.uk/terms_of_business (“Terms and Conditions”) and the terms and conditions of third party suppliers providing the travel arrangements included in the booking (such as accommodation providers and airlines).
    • Any optional purchases or supplements such as seat reservations are subject to the Terms and Conditions. Any changes to a city break package after booking are subject to amendment fees as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.
    • The winner and their travelling party are responsible for charges that apply for any food, beverages or services outside of their chosen board basis plans. All such costs and expenses will be the responsibility of the winner and members of their travelling party.
    • Any amounts payable locally such as resort fees, tourist and/or other taxes will be the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions.
    • The winner and their travel companions are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport and any necessary visa to travel, hold all adequate travel insurance policies, and comply with any other terms and conditions applicable to this offer.
    • The winner and their travel companions are responsible for informing OTB of any wheelchair or similar access requirements required for the customer and/or any travel companions when booking the city break package, and adhering to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
    • Once On the Beach has been informed by Archie’s of the winner by of the competition, On the Beach will contact the winner by direct message (DM) via the Instagram account used to enter this competition.
    • Any fees or costs associated with or incidental to the acceptance or use of the Voucher (other than delivery of the same in accordance with these terms) will be the responsibility of the winner.
    • The Voucher is subject to availability at the required travel date. The Voucher is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and has no cash value. No cash equivalent will be given. No refunds will be given in the event the winner cancels the holiday or is unable to travel.

2.  Archie’s app credits: Download the app from the App Store, the winner will create an account and share their customer number to receive their credits which can be used in-store at any Archie’s location excluding Archie’s Manchester Airport terminal 2 concession. 3.  Archie’s Atomic roller credits: The winner will be provided with a code that can only be used at Archie’s Atomic via the Roller booking system. Book by either downloading the app or visit our website www.archiesatomic.co.uk and click ‘Book Now’.

Terms & Conditions:

By entering this competition, the entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Multiple entries may be accepted. However, stories must be different from one another. Closing date for entry will 28/11/2024. After this date, the winner will be selected and no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. The winner will be notified through their chosen platform (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) by direct message. Unless otherwise set out in these terms, the Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected from or redeemed. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Entrants must ensure the entry form complies with all applicable laws and regulations. It must not contain any illegal, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or inappropriate material. The Promoter and Co-Promoter reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates these guidelines.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent save where such disclosure is required in order to administer the promotion and / or provide the prize.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, Co-Promoter and their agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter Co-Promoter or their employees, agents or distributors. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected. The Co-Promoter is not liable for any costs incurred by winners in the redemption of the Prizes.
